E-cigarette has gained popularity in a very short span of time. The business grew with such speed in an environment with no rules and regulations. Electronic cigarettes have health warning on the smoke boxes and they are mostly free from taxes also. Therefore e-cigarette is a better option for the addiction lovers to quit or to save money.

On most occasions the battery operated cigarettes have a concentrated nicotine liquid solution in it which is heated up to create vapor. E Cigarettes also known as Vaporizers has no chemicals like tar, which is present in the regular fire-tobacco cigarettes. There is also a wide range of flavors in e-cigarettes for all the smoke lovers.

Tobacco industry estimated that these battery operated cigarettes have made a sale of 2.5 billion dollars or more countrywide which is a very big and good start for an industry which is less than 10 years in market. The market had a huge rise in its past year as it is re-usable, cheap and safer than tobacco rolls.  

The retailers sell the e-cigarettes in a place where no taxes are levied on tobacco and a place without regulations. The business grows faster causing concern to the government but the merchants said that they sell the cigarettes only to the people who smoke, and not to the ones who haven’t smoked .The basic belief is that the government is anyway not going to keep this product away from taxes for a long time.

In some states, they have to pay tax and majority of e-cigarette brands do not sell their product to minors. However in regular tobacco cigarettes registration, warnings, ban on advertisements and other permits are required. E Cigarette can also be bought online which makes it sales all the way more which is not possible for a regular fire tobacco role.  The administration plans to impose same rules for the battery operated sticks which would not affect its price or taxes.  

There is variation in taxation of regular cigarettes and other tobacco products across different regions and even if they plan to tax e-cigarettes they will tax them in a different way.
